April 27th, 2006Who knows how the interview went. I HATE talking on the phone. The only thing worse than talking on the phone is INTERVIEWING over the phone. And the only worse than that is interviewing on the phone with THREE women. Oh my. I mean, they asked me questions that they all knew the answers to because we have talked about this kind of stuff before. And I can’t believe that I went through it.
Then, immediately following my interview, I called the professor of the other section of my lab. And he talked with me for over an hour. AN HOUR! And he said that I should stick around one more year and then maybe move on because the place where I am working is becoming notorious for keeping people on a temporary basis. And that isn’t what I want.
It is 7:15 in the morning here and I am worried about my long term future as well as the fact that I haven’t put a single note on paper for class today and I haven’t finished grading everything that I needed graded. Can anyone say shit creek without a paddle? I knew you could.
