While I was visiting my sister this weekend, I met a boy…at a bar… who is a friend of a friend. In any case, he was a very sweet guy. Not sure if he is my type, but after two nights of hanging out you can’t really determine that. What I have determined though is that I have this attraction to men who live a signficant distrance away. Could this be a committment phobia? Maybe, but I am enjoying being single.

The most memorable thing he said to me this weekend was, “What color lipstick are you wearing, it is incredible?” To which I replied, “um Sunburnt.” - as I was riding the entire way to my sister’s house with the top down in my car. He then proceeded to ask me who made that color. “Um, the sun?”

Overall I must say that it was a very nice relaxing and thoroughly entertaining weekend. Of course the entertaining part isn’t much of a surprise because according to Porter us sisters are nothing but trouble. (I think I am the majority leader in that circus ring, but my sister does add her share.)

So, thanks Porter and Michie for a wonderfully spontaneous and relaxing weekend.

oh, and I got to experience my second earthquake since being in California. 3.0 - a baby quake. I am fascinated by earthquakes and for some strange reason not at all scared of them.
