decent human beings actually exist

I met someone who I have so far enjoyed spending time with. The conversation is thought provoking without being fake. He makes me laugh. He is sure of himself in a quiet way which impresses me.

I am very much looking forward to going out with him again.

It was “eh”

The phone “discussion” was alright. Lots of anticipation for very little gratification. I have a formal interview date… I think… of Dec 1st.

I turned down the first date because I have an appointment with the “best f*&$ing colorist in the county” (self proclaimed, I believe).

Apparently my current hair color comes before my potential future. But I shouldn’t interview *before* my color, should I?

Where do my proirities lie? =)

Professional World.

Well folks, today is the day. Well the first of what hopefully will be several days. I am having my first “phone discussion” with the hiring committee tonight. TONIGHT. And I am painfully nervous. Mostly because there are people on the committee that I worry about. But I gotta keep my head up and compete for this job like it is nobody’s business. Because truth be told, aside from the abnormal behavior of one of my co-workers, I really want this job. If for nothing else, because I don’t want to leave this area and it is the only place with the kind of job I want.

A strange thing.

Today I just asked someone who I normally don’t get along with to work with me on a long-ish project.

What was I thinking? Additionally, I spent three hours in class and now I am going home. This has been a nice short day.

I am baking cookies tonight. Exciting, huh?

I am just posting this so that I have posted something.

On with the randomness.

This weekend Sheesa came out to visit. It was a really nice visit, except she made us watch Dateline. On Saturday night, before we went out to dinner, we sat down to watch a little TV. And the first thing that comes up on the guide is “Dateline: Saturday Night”. And you would have thought that they said they would be airing a marathon of Lost and the Office. Sheesha was that excited.

But Dateline in our house? It was just really funny that she wanted to watch it.

And the only thing more exciting than seeing Sheesha is: OUR OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD UPSTAIRS NEIGHBOR IS MOVING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I repeat: SHE IS MOVING OUT! Our household was doing cartwheels and such. We are really excited. So excited that I made a curtain for our bedroom window and socks for our table.

The never-ending chapter

I am outlining a chapter for my class and I swear it has taken over 10 hours thus far to complete the outline. This is the longest chapter EVAH!

p.s. potpies for lunch are yummy.

p.p.s. Sheesha is coming out this weekend and I am not working at the winery. And both of those things makes me very happy. VERY happy.
