A small group of us went out for drinks last night. It started innocently enough…we were going to test taste beers at this beer brewing place in town. For Christmas we are going to brew and bottle our own beer. We needed to decide on what type to brew. A few beers later, we decided to go to a pub near my house for some dinner and more beer drinking. A few of us stuck around after the dinner and went to a dance club – also down the street from me. I think I might actually like dancing now. Alot of it has to do with my confidence level these days. I am comfortable in my own skin and around other people. It is a sign that I am beginning to trust people again. I also think it has alot to do with how accepting my co-workers are. They realize that we are all different people but yet they don’t judge you based on your decisions or actions. They embrace your differences.
