miscellaneous goings on

I have been spending alot of time with new guy. Pretty soon I will have to stop calling him new guy. Last night he came bowling because we needed a sub for our team. He has been bowling once in his life and yet he still came. Hilarious. I really give him alot of credit for putting himself out there. Most guys wouldn’t do that. I am impressed with him. I haven’t been impressed with someone for quite sometime (at least someone who actually lives within a thousand mile vicinity).

Only 10 more days to go.

I think I have only ten more days of class left before finals. That really does spell sweet relief. I have to write 5 more lectures for each class and teach three more labs total. I have to grade about 3 assignments from each class, and I have to write two finals.

And then? I am done until late January.

Now if I can only get through these last few weeks in tact.

Sleighbells ring…

Gearing up for the holiday gifts. It’s getting pretty exciting. I will post pictures after the holidays, but we have a lot of good things cooking here.

Delicious dinners prepared by Winemonkey. I wish I could support us both so that he could be a homemaker.

He is a delicious cook.

And as predicted.

It is the noon meeting that really ruins my day. Really.

I feel like a truck driver

I realized in the passed two days that Photoshop is my weakest program. I am currently in the process of creating one of the hardest things I have ever had to create in Photoshop. It is supposed to look like this (go to page 3 for final image). I don’t know if it is going to turn out so good. I have already cursed quite a bit. I feel like my mother when she sews. But this is something that I have been wanting to learn – so I guess I can chalk it up to experience.
