I just wanted to wish whoever is still reading this little site a Happy Holiday season. I have been MIA for a few months now. It have been painfully busy here, what with working 10 -12 hours days and then trying to write my dissertation.

Here are some updates on the home front, these are not in order of importance:
1. I am still not finished with my dissertation. I am getting very close and hope to finish it sometime in the beginning of the new year.

2. I got wonderful loot for Christmas this year, including a wine refrigerator, some aromatherapy pillows, books, a beautiful serving platter, and a digital camera. And you know what that means, the return of photos to the blog!

3. I still haven’t heard about the job, but I had a dream that I didn’t get it. I am fine with that and am gearing up for other application processes.

4. We are in the process of trying to rescue a pug, but it is very slow-going. I am now fine with that as my parents came out for Christmas along with their pug and my grandma.

5. My parents are at the house. And it has been crowded and good. We have dome some tourist-y things in the area and today we are heading to the Winchester Mystery House.

I promise to post my New Year resolutions around New Year’s, but I will give you one sneak peak. I am resolving to blog more often. Even if I think that it is dribble. But I also think that I am going to have to revamp my blog to make it more accessible for me.
