So only three days after I got my diploma, the place where I interviewed two weeks ago called. The woman wanted to let me know personally that they weren’t going to offer me the job. She assured me that the hiring committee felt that I had a very bright future, but that they wanted someone with more experience. That is a completely valid reason. In addition to that, I don’t know how I would have handled another move to some place six hours away from everyone I know here in California.
So if I wasn’t so sure about the job to begin with, why do I feel so shitty over being rejected?
And what am I going to do with my life?
