I may not have lost alot of weight in the previous weeks, but I have lost inches. I thought I might have been toning, and boy was I right!

Lost to date (in inches):

Hips- 3.5
Neck – 1
Chest – 1.5
Arms – .5
Waist – .5

For a total of 6.5 inches! Wowza!

Take that you stupid “you need to step it up a little” doctor! I am not even going to be concerned about weight anymore. It is not my driving factor – inches baby – inches. When I went shopping this weekend for clothing I was trying on medium tops – and they fit! I don’t ever remember wearing a medium. I even bought a medium dress. Pants – I am down to the size I was in high school. That is 3 sizes lower than my starting size! THREE!

A guy at the gym made me feel good about myself today too. He said that he could absolutely tell I have lost weight and that I am healthier – he said even my skin looked healthier.

This makes me happy. It makes all the time I spend at the gym and the hiking worth it.
