I recently told my old college roommate that I updated this site two or three times a week. And then I haven’t touched it since a week or two ago.

Winemonkey and I went to Seattle for K-bear’s wedding. It was really awesome, but I’ve got a lot to do so I can’t go into the details right now.

With that being said - we did have a delicious lunch our first day there. We went to this place called the Steelhead Diner. We sat at the bar and had a view of the sound. The food was to die for and the bartender was really awesome.

I may not have lost alot of weight in the previous weeks, but I have lost inches. I thought I might have been toning, and boy was I right!

Lost to date (in inches):

Hips- 3.5
Neck - 1
Chest - 1.5
Arms - .5
Waist - .5

For a total of 6.5 inches! Wowza!

Take that you stupid “you need to step it up a little” doctor! I am not even going to be concerned about weight anymore. It is not my driving factor - inches baby - inches. When I went shopping this weekend for clothing I was trying on medium tops - and they fit! I don’t ever remember wearing a medium. I even bought a medium dress. Pants - I am down to the size I was in high school. That is 3 sizes lower than my starting size! THREE!

A guy at the gym made me feel good about myself today too. He said that he could absolutely tell I have lost weight and that I am healthier - he said even my skin looked healthier.

This makes me happy. It makes all the time I spend at the gym and the hiking worth it.

I had a really nice time visiting with Chelle and Eric. The visit was exactly what I needed…relaxation. We went to a nice restaurant where I ate way too much. Got a surprising birthday present - bead necklaces - my favorite thing in the world next to cardigans of course. Got to go swimming, not once, but twice. But more importantly I got to spend some quality time with the sis. The next time I will see her probably wont be until August. We are just way too busy.

I am looking forward to this weekend. Wining and dining and lots of hiking. Can’t wait!

Well this has been a WHAM! BAM! Vacation summer. We are packing our bags for our Seattle trip. And today my sister asked me what we were going to do in Seattle for 5 days.

Turns out, with the exception of dinner every night and one wedding, we hadn’t planned ANYTHING. So we are frantically searching the internet to find out what exactly there is to do in Seattle. Any last minute suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It appears we have ~3 days where we have to be somewhere for dinner and that is our only plan.

Also - apparently I applied sunscreen to my entire face… except for my upper lip, which is on scorching FIRE.
