Well I stayed in Sacramento this weekend to spend time with my sister. She wanted me to go to the bridal show with her on Sunday. Since I was here, my ladies and I went out on the town on Friday. I had a great time. It was so nice to get a couple of cocktails and chit and chat about life. It was great to hear my sister excited about her wedding.

On Saturday, she and I went to a bridal shop, Bridal Mart (you know, where you go to get brides), and I watched her try on dresses. There was one incredibly stunning one and I thought she would get that one, but this evening we went to another bridal shop and she showed me the one that she liked when she went with my mom dress shopping. That one was also really pretty and maybe more appropriate for a daytime wedding.

Anyway… bridal show was on Sunday. And I had a great time hanging out with Lisa. I am torn between living here and living in Santa Rosa.

T-minus 4 days until my birthday party and 6 days until 30 hits me.

With respect to my birthday:

Mood: Pleasantly surprised at the pain-free-ness of the situation
Outlook: The thirties is when you figure it all right?!?! That is what everyone keeps telling me
Hopes: Someone will give me a giant check to get out of debt so my 30’s are worry-free
Dreams: That I look like a princess on my birthday and get treated like one too!
