A Ten Pizza Night.

Our parties are always a one bottle of wine per person plus one extra type thing. But this last dinner party was a one pizza per person party! Ten different pizzas, a multitude of toppings…. it was really good. What made it even better was the company. It was the first time I spent time with people Eric knows through work outside of work-related activities. Not the hosts. The hosts and I go way back and I love them. They are a ton of fun!

The hosts had just bought an apartment in the city, right on the corner of Haight and Asbury. An apartment that is in the background of a lot of famous pictures, particularly of the Grateful Dead. (A band that one of the hosts really loves…)

Point of the story: Great night. I wish we could do it more often.

My mom keeps talking about another pug named Tiki. I just hope we get equal amounts of tummy rubs.

blind people

So I pass about three to four blind people with seeing eye dogs every day. And there is this one lady who always has a bag of poop in her hand. I am assuming that sometime before I see her, her dog poops and she picks it up. My question is, how does she find it? AND. If a blind person can manage to pick up her dog’s poop, why can’t the people who aren’t vision impaired do the same?!!?!?!?!?

The siren song of the iPhone

So this morning I went to the AT&T store to inquire about the new iPhone. The line, as to be expected, was long. I saw one of my new upstairs neighbors in line. It was nice to have someone to chat with while I waited. I ultimately decided to forget it and come back to work. I gave my neighbor my cell number so we could text about her experience. Turns out that they ran out of phones two people ahead of her!

When did I become such a tech junkie? The best part is that I am not even sure I want one…

Connections.

So today my co-workers convinced me to get a Facebook page… you know… so we can play games online. But then it opened up a treasure-trove of people who I haven’t seen in a long long time… like since high school long time. It is a strange trip down memory lane and i hope I don’t trip and fall flat on my face while journeying it.
