I know it is a serious issue, but why use this phrase if you don’t want people to find humor in it.

“Clinton to freeze pirate booty.”

Pirate Booty. Ha. USA Today used the word booty.

There is nothing in the world more soothing, relaxing, encompassingly theraputic than the ocean. It is what I yearn for the most when I am stressed or sad. I want to be there even when everything is going smoothly.

How a girl who grew up in the land-locked state of Pennsylvania can feel such a bond to the ocean is beyond me. It could have started with just the calm that water in general brought me. Maybe the more vast the body of water, the smaller I seem, the smaller my life seems.

All I know is that today has already been a beautiful day. It was nice to spend time with Siea and explore the tide pools. I wish it happened more often. But I am definitely grateful for today.
