The Cast
Everyone here has nicknames to protect the innocent and not so innocent. Because it might get confusing from time to time (and because I come up with better names for people down the line), I thought I would make a little key.
Sheesha is my sister. We have this cousin, who when he was a baby, could not pronounce my sister’s name. Sheesha was born. I totally forgot about this nickname until she brought it up recently.
Porter is one of my closest female friends. She is getting married in the fall to B929 (he will hopefully evolve into a much cooler nickname). She is my partner in crafting crime.
Winemonkey is my little love monkey. He and I have been together since March of 2003 and will hopefully be together the rest of our lives. Similar to my grandpap, who was a grease monkey (mechanic), my Winemonkey comes home with wine stains all over his hands.
S&B are a couple, who individually and mutually are awesome friends of mine. Again, they need MUCH better nicknames. S and I went to graduate school together and she went on to teach down in Louisiana. It is a nice place to visit! They are now in Nashville doing their thing. It is still a nice place to visit.
K-bear and Juan Victor live in Seattle. K-bear was my college roommate at PSU. We had a splendid good time. And now we are both west coast dwellers. Thank god for that!
